Back home in Australia with much to process, much to catch up on, and an undeniable sleep deficit. Tackling it all, one thing at a time.
Pondering Urban Pace: London and New York
One quick reflection comes to mind immediately: the oppressive busyness of London and New York. Not only were they as bustling and hustling—respectively—as ever but even more so than I can recall. There exists a palpable dichotomy: people visibly rushing, a quiet desperation in their eyes, striving to survive and save every penny, juxtaposed with those whose busyness serves as a shield, guarding against confronting harsh self-realities and societal questions. Both echoed the same silent refrain: “I’m sorry, I just don’t have time.”

Interconnected Reflections: Meetings and More
This week, my reflections cross a spectrum of experiences: meetings in London, a commentary on the brutality of Hamas through the lens of conversations with Jewish friends, a YouTube immersion into the essence of Beauty, and a glimpse into upcoming talks and articles. Each thread, while seemingly disparate, weaves into the next, mapping a journey through places, encounters, and internal reflections.
